Long Covid Webinar Series

As our knowledge and understanding of the Covid-19 virus evolves and the impact of the virus continues to be realised it is important that we enhance our understanding and knowledge of the management of people with ongoing Long COVID symptoms. This includes the longer term symptoms and the rehabilitation approaches which can be adopted to support the management of these.

The HSC Clinical Education Centre in collaboration with AHP colleagues at PHA and HSC Trusts are hosting a series of  short lunch-time webinars to assist health and social care practitioners to support patients with continuing Covid-19 symptoms.

Purpose: To explore the longer term presentation and symptoms faced by some Covid-19 patients and how to support and manage these

  • To provide a shared learning opportunity to explore continuing challenges faced by some patients who have contract Covid 19
  • To gain an understanding of potential therapeutic interventions to support those with long covid symptoms
  • To gain from the lived experience of patients, carers and service users

All webinars are from 1.00pm to 2.00pm and are open to Health & Social Care Practitioners in Northern Ireland
