AHP Update

The novel coronavirus Covid-19  impacted significantly on AHP professional development education necessitating the postponement of some face to face programmes.  AHPs have been supported in consolidating their knowledge and skills via multi-disciplinary video conferencing teaching.  To consolidate the learning from events in the last 2 months and prepare for emerging roles and activities for AHPs in the rehabilitative phase of this pandemic, CEC in liaison with the PHA AHP colleagues, will host webinars to provide an interactive learning opportunity for AHP clinicians – details will follow. Additionally, we are currently engaging with education providers across all the allied health professions and hope to have profession specific programmes, mostly taught via video conference advertised in the next few weeks.
