ECG – Recording a 12 Lead ECG on the Adult Patient

As a non-invasive and valuable diagnostic tool, the 12-lead ECG records the heart’s electrical activity as waveforms. It paints a complete picture of the heart’s electrical activity by recording information through 12 different perspectives.  This programme provides participants with the knowledge and essential criteria to ensure accurate undertaking and recording of the 12 Lead ECG in line with the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology Guidelines (2017).  This programme is suitable for Registered Nurses and Senior Nursing Assistants who are new to recording a standard 12 lead ECG.
