Sexual Health Week 2026

This year’s theme is “Sexual Health Information: Who do you listen to?”, a powerful reminder of the importance of seeking reliable, accurate and trustworthy information in a world where misinformation is widespread. The campaign highlights both personal responsibility and the shared role we all play in guiding people toward credible sources.

Signpost the public to reliable and accurate sexual health information, including the Sexual Health NI website: www.sexualhealthni.info
Increase awareness of sexual health services and how to access them
Encourage individuals to seek information from trusted sources, and to consult health professionals when needed.
Promote inclusivity by sensitivity to diversity to those with diverse beliefs including vulnerable populations and those who may face barriers to accessing information.

How can you get involved:

Use and share social media posts from the toolkit to spread awareness.
Host events on sexual health information.
Promote websites that provide factual, reliable and accurate information in your local community.
