1st September 2026
Sepsis is a medical emergency that can affect anyone and can become life-threatening if not recognised and treated quickly. Throughout September, we are supporting Sepsis Awareness Month and raising awareness of the importance of early recognition and timely escalation, with World Sepsis Day taking place on 13th September.
Learn more by watching our Sepsis Awareness Video and explore the CEC Sepsis in the Adult Programme, which is available to book now for all healthcare and social care staff caring for patients aged 16 years. The programme focuses on recognising sepsis early, identifying deterioration, and improving outcomes through prompt action.
Click to watch the video, find out more about Sepsis Awareness Month, and book your place on an upcoming Sepsis in the Adult programme.
