The CEC Mental Health (NI) Order 1986 programme has been updated to reflect the newly published revised Code of Practice.

This online half day programme aims to increase awareness of the most relevant parts of the Mental Health (NI) Order 1986 applicable to professional practice.

This programme is relevant to all professionally Registered Health and Social Care Staff working in Mental Health and Learning Disability Settings with added considerations relevant to The Updated Code of Practice (July 2026) which include:

• Rights & Dignity
• Person centred care and participation
• Inter-agency collaboration and processes.
