Future Nurse Future Midwife: Student Supervision and Assessment Preparation Programme

These new modules has been developed from the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (2023) and builds on the material developed by NIPEC as part of the regional Future Nurse Future Midwife Project. The modules will provide you with the information and knowledge required to support students in line with NMC Standards of Student Supervision and Assessment. (2023).

Learning Outcomes

• Apply the fundamental skills of learning to student supervision and assessment in practice.
• Reflect on how an individual learns
• Support the student in their practice learning environment
• Identify, recognise and manage  underperformance

Registered nurses & midwives and other registered healthcare practitioners preparing to take on the role of practice supervisor and practice assessor.
