Tell it Right: Communicating the Diagnosis

The HSC Clinical Education Centre is delighted to host a webinar in partnership with the Down’s Syndrome Association and South Eastern Health & Social Care Trust.

This webinar aims to equip healthcare staff with the skills, knowledge and confidence to effectively communicate and discuss down syndrome diagnosis to expectant parents/families. The webinar will be conducted in collaboration with the Down’s Syndrome Association and South Eastern HSC Trust and will focus on best practice, compassionate communication and providing support to expectant, new parents and families, ensuring conversations are delivered with empathy and clarity.
