Skin Care Awareness for GP Nursing Assistants



To provide GP nursing assistants with an awareness of wounds within a primary care setting.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the study session the participants will have;

  • Discussed anatomy, physiology and functions of the skin
  • Discussed stages of wound healing and factors that delay wound healing
  • Examined their roles and responsibilities in relation to wounds in the primary care setting
