Dynamic Retinoscopy, Congenital Cataracts, Down Syndrome - Overview



The purpose of this programme is to update staff on:

  • the use and relevance of Dynamic Retinoscopy
  • all relevant investigation, diagnosis and management of patients with congenital cataracts
  • any relevant ophthalmic/orthoptic treatment and management of patients with Down Syndrome
  • other disorders affecting patients with Down Syndrome

Learning Outcomes

  • To update staff on Dynamic Retinoscopy, Congenital Cataracts and Down Syndrome
  • To update staff on relevance of Dynamic Retinoscopy in Orthoptic practice
  • To udpate staff on ophthalmic and orthoptic investigation/treatment/management of patients with congenital cataracts
  • To update staff on the medical and ophthalmic conditions associated with patients who have Down Syndrome
