The purpose of this 3 day programme is to extend participants’ knowledge and skills in the theory and practice about Housing Considerations

Day 1 (p.m.) Reading & Using Plans Part 2
Day 2 (a.m.) Ramps: Assessment & Design
Day 2 (p.m.) Accessible Lifts
Day 3 (a.m.) Bathroom Adaptation & Design
Day 3 (p.m.) Accessible Kitchen Design
If you require further information about any of the above modules, please refer to course information circulated to OT Managers or contact the Clinical Education Centre.
NB: The OT Managers have requested that staff attend all modules listed above rather than attending selected modules therefore only one application form needs to be completed.
All Occupational Therapists working or interested in the area of housing for older and disabled people
Incorporated into all Modules are a range of training methods including PowerPoint presentations, quizzes, case studies, practical exercises and discussion groups.

As it is preferable for staff to attend all three days, only one application form needs to be completed
